One of our Featured Silhouettes, the Air Max 97 is an iconic style designed by Christian Tresser at Nike, originally released in 1997. The sleek form of the 97 and the metallic OG Silver Bullet colourway are commonly compared to the famous silver bullet train, whilst Tresser actually took inspiration from the capillary wave effect and the construction of mountain bikes.
